Independent analyst firm, Quocirca is the fourth analyst firm, alongside Gartner, Forrester, and IDC, to rank Ricoh among global Managed Print Services (MPS) leaders. The firm has named Ricoh a global MPS market leader in its new report, Managed Print Services Landscape, 2013.
Ricoh has a strong value proposition to deliver MPS to large enterprises – managing both their office and production print environments, the report stated.
Many MPS offerings focus tightly on devices and print management, while ours is delivered as part of our Ricoh Managed Document Services (Ricoh MDS), said Tian Horn, executive GM responsible for direct sales operations, including production printing and software at Ricoh SA. Ricoh’s MDS employs a holistic, five-phased adaptive model that provides a unique and more complete MDS solution for each customer, a solution that addresses the entire landscape of business information, including its input (capture), processing (workflow) and output (distribution), whether paper-based or electronic. We also help provide the right information to workers, at the right time and in the right form – whether in the office, mobile or virtual environment – so they can make optimal business decisions.
Quocirca describes market leaders as possessing: Diverse strengths and wide global presence and have prioritised their efforts and investments to win in this highly competitive marketplace. The report examines the competitive landscape for MPS and discusses the key market drivers and trends that will shape future MPS engagements.
A growing number of organisations are working to improve their performance by digitising information, streamlining workflows, and more quickly delivering the right information to the right people at the right time. Ricoh MDS helps them through innovative, customised solutions that include careful management of people, processes and technology.
Gartner has also positioned Ricoh in its Leaders Quadrant in its annual Magic Quadrant: Managed Print Services Worldwide report from December 2012; and ranked Ricoh in the top three globally in the 2012: Competitive Landscape: Managed Print Services, Worldwide from the same year.
