RISO Africa will exhibit its ComColor 9150 150 page per minute Ink Jet Printer with Perfect Binder and ComColor 9150 with Inline Wrapping Envelope Finisher at the Africa Print Regional Expo, taking place from 12-13 March at the CTICC, Cape Town.

The ComColor 9150 with automatic on-demand perfect binding system will shorten your production time drastically even with high-mix, low-volume printing with user-friendly operation that minimises the chance of errors. It comes with simple-to-use software, using input from MS Office documents and PDFs. Sixty 100-page books in A4/letter size can be bound in an hour, with a maximum of 600 pages or 30mm.

A thick book can be bound easily, where conventional staples would be difficult. The Perfect Binder automatically adjusts and trims the cover size even when the pagination has been changed, giving a neatly finished book with no offline trimming required. All operations are handled in a compact and convenient office unit. The complete unit has a small footprint and requires only single phase power to run.

The ComColor 9150 with Inline Wrapping Envelope Finisher is a convenient in-line mailing solution that handles mail production from Host to Post, with minimal intervention. According to Riso Africa, no other sheetfed solution of this kind exists on the market. This ground-breaking solution streamlines the steps of mail production, reducing labour hours and capital investments for further savings.

RISO’s ComColor 9150, one of the world’s fastest cut sheet inkjet printers, redefines the production printer category, offering up to 150 ppm, full-colour printing, simple and intuitive controls and robust print production features. Customers can maximise ComColor’s print speed with RISO’s new revolutionary technology that incorporates cost-effective printing and mail finishing capabilities for a significant increase in productivity and confidentiality while reducing costs.

The Mailing Solution can print and address an envelope form and enclosures, fold the enclosures, create an envelope from the printed form which is wrapped around the enclosures, and seal the envelope in-line to produce a finished mail piece. The ComColor is well-suited for transaction applications and customers can effectively print, ‘insert’, and seal mail pieces in-line for increased productivity and mail integrity, condensed into a single compact system.
