Konica Minolta won the prestigious ‘Red Dot Award: Product Design 2021’ in honour of its AccurioPress C14000 Series of production presses. Unveiled in South Africa in November 2020, the press – which also includes the AccurioPress C12000 – will assist Konica Minolta South Africa’s mission in supporting transformation in the mid to high volume segment, as well as predicting potential challenges and creating solutions together.
An international jury remarked on the ‘outstanding’ design of the AccurioPress C14000 Series, which was also recognised in the ‘Good Design Award 2020’ from the Japan Institute of Design Promotion six months ago. The AccurioPress C14000 prints at 140 pages per minute (PPM) in A4 and is 40% faster than any other toner-based machine from Konica Minolta. The AccurioPress provides the same high print quality and a similarly fast speed of 120 ppm.
