Fellowes Beswick has launched the Uchida AeroDieCut, an innovative die cutting machine which has the ability to register to a preprinted product.

It can process digitally printed sheets up to 400 grams per square metre and close to B3 sheet size, using die cutting technology (ruled steel dies mounted onto boards). It is easy to operate and features a speed of up to 1000 sheets per hour.

Watch the short introduction of the machine:

In addition to die cutting, it can crease, emboss and perforate, and includes a touch screen control which enables the easy storing of jobs and settings. Users are able to do step and repeat, or do multiple impressions on a sheet from a single impression die. A creasing matrix enables embossing and letter pressing.

Watch the full video demonstration:

Within the machine is a pressure roller system which crosses the die at an angle, allowing for a clean cut. Speed is variable, and the sheets are delivered into an adjustable tray. The Uchida AeroDieCut allows print service providers to seamlessly transition into other markets such as point of sale and packaging.
