The Africa Print Regional Expo stopped in Durban for a two-day event on the 26-27 August 2014 at the Durban ICC and Trisave used the event to launch its new DUMOR products, including: the DUMOR Slit-Cut-Creaser/Perforator, DUMOR Auto Creaser Folder and DUMOR Multi Finisher.
DUMOR Slit-Cut-Creaser/Perforator is a multi-functional digital finishing machine suitable for business cards, greeting cards, compliment slips, brochures, pictures etc. The unit can process up to 32 cuts and 32 creases per single sheet. The six programmable slitting blades have a patented quick-release to allow for easy blade access.
The suction feeder includes an ultrasonic double sheet detector and a two direction mark reader for image drift compensation. Optionally, a barcode reader can be fitted for automatic setup. The 22.86cm (9”) colour touch screen is all that is required for set-up and no additional separate PC is required. The creasing bar is interchangeable with a perforating bar and it is possible to fit up to four linear perforating wheels.
The DUMOR Auto Creaser Folder is a multi-functional finishing machine suitable for folding and creasing heavier paper stock. To eliminate cracking when folding, it is possible to crease in-line on this automatic unit. The creasing bar is interchangeable with a perforating bar and seven fold types are available. It is possible to do up to 16 creases or perforations in one pass.
DUMOR Multi Finisher is a versatile unit is available as a Suction Fed or Hand-Fed unit. It is possible to crease or perforate up to 32 lines in a single pass. The creasing bar is interchangeable with a perforating bar. Furthermore it is possible to fit a range of attachments: Kiss-cutting blade set, Slitting blade set, Perforating blade set and Scoring blade set.
All of the above units are available with a range of optional attachments.
