SCREEN Announces Milestone Installation Of Inkjet Press
SCREEN has celebrated its 350th global installation of the Truepress LABEL 350UV series.

SCREEN Europe has reached a major milestone in digital label printing with the installation of its 350th Truepress LABEL 350UV Series digital inkjet press, marking the occasion with a fifth installation at Belgian label converter Digi‑Paq. Across the global label market, the Truepress LABEL 350UV SAI has built a strong reputation for reliability and production stability in intense production environments.

Founded in 2017, Digi-Paq made a decisive commitment early to digital-first label production. They found that SCREEN’s digital printing technology responded to these demands and gave them unique offerings to label clients used to the limitations of analogue printing.

Digi-Paq Co-CEO Frederik Parrein described the advantages of this approach to label converting, saying, ‘Digital-first allowed our company to remain agile, responsive, and competitive in a market where customer expectations were trending toward shorter runs, faster turnaround times, and consistent high quality. Since then, that early decision has driven substantial growth year-after-year, enabling Digi-Paq to scale our operations quickly while continuing to serve our customer base.’

Carlo Sammarco, Business Development Director Label Solutions at SCREEN Europe, commented on the press’s rapid adoption, ‘Our clients and our team are proud of how successful this label press has become. From the initial intention to provide label printers with a wider colour gamut combined with the robust technology SCREEN is known for, we’ve continued to build on this platform with innovations such as our new Digital Primer and advanced automation solutions and integrations. The market has clearly recognised how impactful this label printing solution has become and will continue to only grow more efficient and reliable.’

The press’s precision, continuously refined Japanese engineering, stable ink performance, and advanced automation features drive high uptimes that support predictable scheduling, reduced waste, and confident production planning. At Digi-Paq, this reliability is reflected operating in two shifts daily, with dependability that’s been proven to perform consistently under demanding conditions.

And the platform not only operates effectively but does so while driving printing quality and vibrant colours in digital label printing, recognised as the first-ever UV inkjet label press to receive G7 Digital Press Certification from Idealliance. Achieving the Extended Gamut CRPC7 rating, one of the programme’s most demanding benchmarks, the certification recognises and advocates for the inkjet press’s ability to deliver consistent colour accuracy, repeatability, durability, and consistent registration in demanding label production environments.

‘Our growth has been immense, and that’s thanks to our technology,’ said Christophe Parrein, Co-CEO at Digi-Paq. ‘To find new clients and support our current ones with the best solutions, we are always looking to adopt the latest label printing technology. Each time we did our market research, we reached the same conclusion. We’ve continued to invest in SCREEN digital printing because they after every assessment they still had the best solution for our business backed by a level service and support we came to trust.’

Yukiyoshi Tanaka, President of SCREEN Graphic Solutions Co., Ltd., concluded on the past success of the Truepress LABEL 350UV SAI and the even brighter expectations, ‘This has been a very successful partnership, and we are expecting even more success for both companies in the future. We are proud to support the impressive growth achieved by Digi-Paq and all our label printing partners globally and hope we can bring this level of success to even more businesses.’
