Primera will release its LX2000e colour label printer at Emballage, taking place at Paris Nord Villepinte, France, from 17-20 November 2014.

The LX2000e features large ink tanks for lower cost per label, fast print speeds and pigment ink for better water and UV resistance. Other highlights include built-in wired/Ethernet or wireless connection options, a ‘pizza wheel’ cutter, front colour LCD control panel and viewing window for label stock levels. It will be available for purchase in late 2014.

Primera Technology has successfully developed short to medium-run solutions using colour laser technology, such as the CX1000e Colour Label Printer, a roll-to-roll dry toner-based laser printer. Designed for in-house production of professional-quality product labels, CX1000e is ideal for producing short to medium-run jobs in various sizes. With 2400 dpi print resolution and print speed of five metres per minute, the CX1000e delivers professional full-colour print quality along with high-speed production. The CX1000e’s output has much deeper and far more vibrant colours and dot patterns are virtually imperceptible.

If finished rolls are needed, the FX1000e Matrix Removal System is the perfect accessory to the CX1000e Colour Label Printer. In a single automated process, the FX1000e removes the waste label matrix while slitting and rewinding the printed labels to finished rolls. Finished label rolls are tightly wound and ready to be applied either manually or by most label dispensers or automated label applicators. The FX1000e is available either with a single or double rewinder mandrel.
