Kodak supplies key starting materials (KSMs) to US and multinational contract development and manufacturing organisations (CDMOs). The company has been named the winner of a Gold Stevie® Award in the ‘Achievement in Management – Pharmaceuticals’ category in The 23rd Annual American Business Awards®.
This is the fifth year in a row that Kodak has won at least one of the coveted Stevie Awards. The new recognition highlights Kodak’s successful expansion of its existing business that serves the pharmaceutical industry, broadening its activities in the domestic pharmaceutical market.
As part of its business expansion, Kodak is investing significantly to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for FDA-regulated Class I and Class II pharma products, including healthcare reagents for testing and medical treatment of patients, at Eastman Business Park in Rochester, N.Y. The new Kodak Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) plant will ensure consistent quality and a secure, reliable domestic supply chain for research institutions, CDMOs, and healthcare providers.

In addition to receiving a Gold accolade, Kodak was awarded a Bronze Stevie Award this year in the ‘Company of the Year – Manufacturing – Large’ category. The company was recognised for its successful initiatives aimed at achieving leadership in industrial manufacturing within high-growth segments of its Print and Advanced Materials and Chemicals businesses.
The American Business Awards are the USA’s premier business awards programme. More than 250 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners. In 2024, Kodak was the proud winner of a Gold Stevie® Award in the ‘Best Business Technology Pivot’ category.
