Kemtek Imaging Systems hosted its ‘PrintPlay 2025 – Bold colour. Smart labelling. Creative’ event at its Midrand office on 15 August. Visitors could see printing technologies ranging from small mobile label printers to large format printing equipment, and many other solutions in-between, from numerous brands.
Nyambeni Khonzani, head of sales for e-commerce, retail and channel at Kemtek said the purpose of the event was to get customers to visit Kemtek’s showroom, adding that they were showcasing new products. These included HPRT solutions spanning mobile label printers, compact photo printers and mini photo printers, and the Brother SP-1 desktop sublimation printer. Brother cutting and labelling innovations were also on display.
The event was an ideal opportunity for customers to see various product samples. ‘The day was very successful with customers coming through – there wasn’t a minute when we weren’t engaging with them.’
Also on show were the Epson SureColor large format S40610 and T770 models, as well as the smaller Epson ColorWorks label printers.
Honeywell label printers and scanning devices, and Creality laser engraving and 3D printing machines, were also on show. Samples from the company’s HP Indigo and Scodix printing solutions were also showcased, and visitors could learn more about Canon, Brotech and Botlr equipment.
