INX Digital will showcase a full range of label technologies available for printers and converters who will be attending the Labelexpo 2014, to be held from 9-11 September at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Centre in Rosemont, IL.

The company will exhibit the new digital narrow web press and a small batch ink dispenser, along with a wide range of flexographic and gravure label inks.

The new Komori NW210 inkjet UV digital narrow web press with inline laser cutting is unrivaled in the marketplace. Powered by JetINX, it represents the latest addition to the EVOLVE Advanced Digital Solutions line and provides label converters, direct mail and packaging printers the ideal opportunity to transition into digital printing with short-run production for narrow web printing.

The NW210 is incredibly fast and offers best in class image quality performance with UV LED advanced curing technology. Capable of delivering UV-LED cure single pass output up to 24,4m (80 feet) per minute on any label stock, it combines printing and conversion to provide brilliant colour and easy production of printed labels at a maximum printing width of 210mm.  In addition to the Spartanics X210 laser die-cutting station, the NW210 has five colour ink channels and the latest Xaar patented technology, including fifteen 1002 8-level gray scale print heads capable of printing with an apparent resolution of greater than 1000 dpi.

In addition to the NW210, a new HMJ-200 small batch ink dispenser from HMJtech Dispensing Solutions will be demonstrated in the INX booth. Designed for the tag and label market, this cost-effective solution offers a significant amount of benefits for small to medium sized batches.

It quickly delivers single point dispense into jugs with small openings, needing only 90 seconds to deliver four ingredients in a one-gallon jug. The HMJ-200 is manufactured to meet North American and European safety and compliance standards, and arrives fully assembled and ready to dispense ink. It is available for water based or UV curable ink and is configurable up to 14 base ingredients from kits, drums, totes or bulk.

Show visitors will have three premium quality water-based flexographic ink formulations for labels to choose from. The AquaTech ION-T Thermal series is used for a wide range of Thermal Laser printers and the ION-P Paper series prints on most Prime Label, semi-gloss and EDP substrates, plus an array of pressure sensitive and tag liners. The ION Film Glow and Sheen Metallic series prints on most Prime Label, semi-gloss and EDP substrates, as well as most treated films and foils.

Also on display on the INX booth will be the INXFlex UV ITX-free Shrink 70 Process inks and INXFlex UV CLMIILow Migration Process inks. For shrink label printers, the solvent-based Etona and ShrinkPac F ink systems are premium gravure inks designed for PETG and OPS Shrink Sleeve applications.
