Enfocus Enhances Print Preflighting Software Solution PitStop

Pitstop’s 25.07 update introduces a powerful new capability to copy and paste attributes between objects’ selections in an Action List, providing even greater flexibility when modifying PDF objects’ properties. This enhancement allows users to change a selection’s attributes like a fill colour or a used font for a text, using any reference object.

The update also brings advanced compression options that enable users to optimise stream compression and apply ZIP compression on top of JPEG for images – translating into smaller file sizes, faster transfers, and reduced storage costs.

Other improvements include structural lines optimisation, selecting spot colours based on their alternative colour space, the ability to choose where to save new colours or resources and making TrueType fonts compliant with PDF specifications. Users can now also reveal resources directly in Finder and can more easily draw horizontal or vertical paths.

Loïc Aigon, Product Manager PitStop at Enfocus said, ‘Update 25.07 focuses on delivering features that truly enhance productivity and precision for our users. From effortless copy and pasting to advanced compression and smarter resource management, every improvement we’ve rolled out is designed to streamline complex workflows and ensure high quality output, every time.’

‘These powerful new features ensure our customers can keep enhancing their efficiency and get the most from their prepress software. This update underlines why PitStop remains the gold standard in PDF quality control, and we’re excited to empower our customers with these tools to save time, reduce costs, and maintain the exacting standards the industry demands.’
