Color-Logic featured a collaborative showcase of digital print embellishment, highlighting its predictable and economical possibilities. They partnered with Sharp, Duplo, and Unifoil at the recent Amplify trade show in Chicago to elevate digital print embellishments.
Strategic print embellishment is a key differentiator for brands and commercial clients, setting them apart from the competition. Print embellishment is more than just a ‘wow’ factor, it is about achieving a tangible Return on Response (ROR). Amplify attendees saw compelling examples of how print embellishment can be successfully applied to commercial and packaging applications.
To produce the free embellishment samples made available at Amplify, Color-Logic partnered with Duplo, Sharp, and Unifoil. Unifoil Unilustre DI metallic stock was utilised with the Sharp white and CMYK toner on the Sharp BP-1200S Digital Press to create the Color-Logic metallic colours and embellishments for all the files. One of the files utilised Touch7 Neon Photo with the Sharp pink toner to add Sharp pink into the image of the file with just one mouse click. A Duplo CCD810PRO UV spot ultraviolet coater was used on all of the packages produced, to accentuate the files’ effects with a tactile feel. A Duplo CD618 slitter/cutter/creaser and a Duplo DPC600PKG digital die cutter were used to finish the package file.
