Bytes Document Solutions (BDS) has appointed Thunderbolt as a Value Added Reseller of the Xerox digital presses. The alliance contract was signed on the Thunderbolt stand at Propak Africa on 14 March.

Thunderbolt has a very good reputation and a good relationship with the commercial print and graphic arts market, so the alliance is an opportunity to grow our customer base and offer customers a total package. Its an opportunity to grow our businesses, leverage our collective experience and knowledge and bring about a formidable range of solutions to the South African market place, said Paul Haglich, Production Systems Marketing Manager at BDS.

Barry Hasleham from BDS will work closely with the Thunderbolt team to offer product support.

Weve signed with Xerox because we feel that the company is the biggest and best in the industry. Thunderbolt generally operates in the top end of the digital market and we believe we can add value for Xerox in this segment. We see a long-term relationship between us and value for both companies and our customers, said Peter van der Walt, MD, Thunderbolt.
