Warren Werbitt, president of Pazazz Printing in Montreal, will be the opening keynote speaker at the Print World Trade Show and Conference on November 18 2012.

Werbitt achieved YouTube fame with his now famous ranting paean Printing’s Alive. Since then he has become a regular speaker at various industry events in North America. His opening keynote, Let’s Make Print Relevant, will touch on some of his favourite themes: making clients, indeed the world, aware of how necessary print is to the success of their businesses, and resisting selling print on price only. He is sure to draw controversy with his no-holds barred critique of some industry practices, but also to inspire attendees with his passion for printing.

The second keynote address will come from Jacques Côté, Group President, Physical Mail, Canada Post, on Monday, November 19, 2012. He will update attendees on the transformation strategies the crown corporation is implementing for more efficient delivery of all categories of mail, including direct mail and transaction mail. The transformation includes new mail guide specifications to be unveiled at Print World that promise more creativity for direct mailers.

Our line-up this year promises colourful commentary, hard facts, reliable assessments of technology, and news that impacts print operations. In short, there’s something of value for everyone, said Sandy Donald, Print World show manager, about the conference.
