Uniprint teamed up with their customer, the global manufacturing giant, Unilever, on the recent development of the Omo Handwash Range. As a result, Uniprint was awarded a gold medal in the domestic goods category at the Gold Pack Awards on 5 November 2015 in Johannesburg.
The Omo Handwash Range has been enjoying a large amount of success in the lower LSM markets and thanks to its ingenious design it has started to gain brand acceptance and even preference in these markets. The attractive and recyclable plastic bottle was designed in an attempt to move consumers from the traditional powdered detergents to the new liquid detergents; a goal which they have met as they continue to gain momentum in terms of brand loyalty.
The gold medal is yet another award which Uniprint can add to their impressive collection, but aside from that it is also a testament to how their attitude towards innovation is constantly pushing the boundaries in the printing and packaging industry.
