Since its launch in 2015, LTZ film has been promoted under the corporate Titanium™ brand name. Taghleef Industries has announced two additional metallic films for in mould labelling applications.
The unique LTZ multi-layer film is characterised by an exclusive silver look delivering either a brilliant ‘mirror like’ gloss or a matt ‘gunmetal’ effect to the labelled container. The strength of Titanium™ LTZ lies in its metallic component as one of the inner layers of its structure, which removes the possibility of scratching and improves ink adhesion.
The new Titanium™ portfolio will include the following metallic in mould label films: LTZ, which is suitable for static charging and vacuum placement, as well as LHZ and LIZ, which are both suitable for vacuum placement.
These substrates serve as perfect metallised labels on PP containers, and therefore also represent a suitable alternative to aluminium containers. Suitable applications include small, medium and large containers of industrial applications (e.g. paints and coatings), nutraceutical products (e.g. sports supplements), premium brand foodstuff, and more.
Titanium™ product family belongs to Taghleef Industries’ portfolio of in mould label films that enable the widest choice of finishes: from a ‘no label look’ to orange peel, satin finish, smooth finish, glossy finish and a metallic look.
