SwissQprint AG will launch its latest development in UV flatbed inkjet printers at drupa. The swissQprint Nyala is based on the successful concept of the Oryx and Impala, highly regarded in the industry, the bigger and faster Nyala promises to deliver a better quality at double the speed.
The Nyala also comes equipped with a larger printing table. The 3,2m table size offers an increased print width compared to its predecessor, the Impala at 2,5m wide.
The Nyala can print with superior quality onto either 3,2 x 1,6m board material in true flatbed mode, or 3.2m wide continuous roll material by adding on the roll media option at anytime. This will be an attractive proposition for customers wishing to upgrade to a high-quality, high-speed versatile UV flatbed printer.
As standard, the Nyala will offer the renowned swissQprint versatility with options such as white, primer, varnish, spot colours and the oversized board option, also available as part of the modular system.
In addition to the larger printing table, the Nyala can be equipped with fourfold CMYK, which increases the output compared to a basic configuration. The increased output of draft printing mode allows print speeds of up to 215m2/h. This doubles the speed of the Impala at 134m2/h, which already broke records when introduced two years ago. The Nyala sets a new ‘in-class’ speed record.
