Scodix announced its plans to demonstrate its comprehensive product portfolio, including a new digital enhancement platform and additional applications, enabling print service providers (PSPs) to gain a competitive edge by differentiating their offering and increasing profitability.

The extended range of Scodix digital finishing enhancements allows brands to increase the effectiveness of their printed items and add value to the consumer experience. As a company focused on developments that bring increased innovation and ROI to its customers, Scodix platforms are versatile, incorporating many cutting-edge applications into just one system, which will be presented at drupa 2016.

Scodix CEO, Roy Porat commented, ‘Scodix leads the rapid adoption of digital enhancement equipment through its development of new and exciting products and applications that cannot be replicated or bettered by any other finishing process. Our print enhancement technology truly sets products apart from the competition and we’re looking forward to sharing our latest solutions with drupa visitors look out for further announcements on the road to drupa and also at the show itself.’

As a pioneer for the digital finishing sector at drupa 2012, the benefits of Scodix’s ground-breaking solutions have been widely recognised by the industry, and the company has seen significant success over the past four years. Since 2012, Scodix brought its third product to market successfully, boosted its install base from 12 to over 200 across the globe and more than tripled the applications achievable with Scodix technology. Scodix eagerly anticipates the opportunity to present its new solutions at drupa 2016 to both customers and prospects, consequently increasing the size of its stand threefold since its drupa 2012 debut.

Customer applications and successful business models that incorporate digital enhancement will also be at the heart of Scodix’ exhibition. Visitors to drupa will see real-world applications of the technology and hear how PSPs using digital enhancement today are able to attract customers with tangible value-added products, retain custom and remain profitable through the use of Scodix technology, which means less time wasted, less expense and improved productivity.

Porat continued, ‘Scodix applications go beyond what digital print alone can do. Consumers love personalisation and products that touch the senses, intensifying their brand experience. Scodix Foil for example offers the most colour intensive metallic foil available, not only maximising impact but increasing the perceived value of a product. Our advanced range of effects including Scodix foil, Scodix spot, and Scodix Sense, amongst others, better influence consumer sales and improve the consumer experience.’

As well as a new digital enhancement press and innovative new applications from Scodix, the company will also demonstrate its proven product portfolio including the Scodix Ultra Pro Digital Enhancement Press with Foil station and the Scodix S Series Digital Enhancement Press – live in Hall 4 at drupa.

The following products will also be showcased:

Scodix Ultra Series: the most productive presses in the Scodix portfolio, with the widest variety of enhancement effects. Compatible with offset, laminated sheets and digital print, the presses process a variety of substrate weights and thicknesses up to B2+ size, with minimal setup.

Scodix S Series: using Scodix SENSE to produce brilliant, high quality products with tangible dimensions, the S Series delivers myriad applications including folders, brochures, labels, calendars, photo albums and much, much more.

Porat concluded, ‘drupa has proven to be very successful for Scodix and we’re pleased to return to a show that provides us with a platform to engage with some of the most influential manufacturers, PSPs, Folding Cartons and suppliers to the industry. Presenting our latest portfolio at this landmark event will be extremely exciting and we look forward to what we can achieve, both as a company and for our customers, at drupa 2016 and beyond.’
