Ricoh will demonstrate its colour wide format machine, the MP CW2200, the ultra short throw PJ WX4130 digital projector, MP C3002 mid-range colour multifunction printer (MFP), and the MP 2501 mid-range mono MFP at the Africa Print Regional Expo in Bloemfontein on May 9 at Kiepersolrant.

We are keen to support our business partners and customers in the region with these popular models in our lineup, said Dierdre Fernandes, marketing, events, CSR, PR and sponsorship co-ordinator at Ricoh SA. Our business partners, Lediba Holdings and Kadafi Office Automation, which is relatively new to the Ricoh SA fold as it joined mid-last year, will both be represented at the expo which is an important touch point between us, our customers and potential customers. We have experienced immense success at Africa Print in Johannesburg and it is the single most important event in our industry that visits all of the major centres in the country.

The MP CW2200 is a four-colour, wide format printer designed to address the CAD market, that uses Liquid Gel ink and suited to a variety of industries, including manufacturing, architecture, engineering, construction, planning authorities and product design. It is also expected to meet the demands of the print room and quick print markets. Because of the quick drying properties of Liquid Gel ink, the system provides high productivity, minimises blurring and produces superb line accuracy.

The ultra short throw PJ WX4130N projector is about the size of a large lunch tin that can put an 203cm (80”) image on almost any colour background in normal office lighting conditions from as close as 11cm, which means it can be placed on a desk next to a wall and project a clear, rightly proportioned image.

The MP C3002 is a versatile, full colour MFP that streamlines unique workflows including printing, copying, scanning, and distribution, with robust security, extensive finishing capabilities and eco-friendly operation, for heavy workloads as the primary system for workgroups or as an integral part of the Ricoh MDS strategy to enhance productivity and reduce TCO.

The MP 2501SP is an A3, black-and-white MFP for productive and economical printing, copying and colour scanning that can be integrated with software offering a range of benefits from electronic workflows to remote management, a customizable 11cm (4,3”) colour, touchscreen display and optional hard drive.
