FESPA Foundation Celebrates Teachers Of Parter Schools

Following the Africa Print Expo, the FESPA Foundation (FF) team celebrated World Teachers’ Day earlier in October, through the distribution of gifts and other items to the teachers of its many partner schools.

From 6-9 October, the FF team visited four schools in Limpopo including Malekapane Primary School, Pitseng ya Thuto Primary School, Madesei Primary School, and Batau Primary School, as well as Evane Combine School in KwaZulu-Natal.

The gifts for the teachers included printed stickers produced by Midcomp during the expo, while EG Printers donated FESPA Foundation T-shirts. NUtec Digital Ink provided stationery (including pencil cases and folders) for the schools’ children.

Several companies exhibiting at FESPA Global Print Expo, held in Barcelona during May, donated the following:

– MH+P: painting canvas.
– Brother: recycled-polyester T-shirts.
– Canon: printed vinyl strips, colouring books, and posters.
– Kongsberg: ‘Creative Packs’ with notepads, bookmarks, pens, jigsaw puzzles, 3D puzzles, sticker sheets and handheld fans.
– Summa / Roland: posters, caps/hats and vinyl rolls.

Your generosity has helped us deliver valuable resources to our partner schools, supporting both learners and educators. Thank you for standing with us and helping turn these contributions into meaningful support for our schools,’ said Steve Thobela ka Mdlalose, FESPA Foundation Executive Director.

Principal Alina Mphahlele, from Malekapane Primary School said, ‘I would like to express my gratitude to the FESPA Foundation for their kindness and willingness to support us and our learners. Your support truly means so much.’

An exclusive FESPA Foundation dinner was held on 9 September at the Mall of Africa in Midrand, Johannesburg, which included FESPA executives and board members, staff and trustees from the FEPSA Foundation, as well as the principals from the various partner schools.
