Tian Horn is the new executive GM responsible for direct sales operations, including production printing and software at Ricoh SA. His appointment follows the departure of Ricoh SA veteran Alan Austin at the end of 2012.
My core focus has always been sales management, account management and business development, said Horn. I’ve conducted business across Southern, East and West Africa and I look forward to helping Ricoh SA’s professional direct sales team grow the business with my knowledge of technology drivers and how these improve the business performance of our customers.

He is particularly adept at assisting customers to understand their requirements. He is also an excellent manager who fosters team development and has many sterling endorsements to that effect. Horn joins Ricoh SA from Software AG where he spent 20 months managing the regional sales managers and held the positions of business development director and sales director.
Prior to this Horn was also involved with a number of local and international companies – Prestasi Brokers, Dexdata Technologies, Insurance Outsourcing Managers, Websoft Maven, Business Edge Systems, Software Solutions Partners in the UK and Perago FSE in Italy.
