David Baxendale and Zelf Hussein of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) were appointed as joint administrators of Manroland Great Britain Limited on 5 December.
Zelf Hussain, joint administrator and partner at PwC, said, Due to difficulties arising from the insolvency of Manrolands parent company in Germany, and having run out of alternative options, Manroland Great Britain Limited has been placed into administration.
We are continuing to trade and are looking to secure the rapid sale of the business and assets of Manroland Great Britain Limited, and consequently we are very keen to speak to anyone who might have an interest in acquiring all, or part, of the company.
Norman Revill, managing director of Manroland Great Britain Limited, said, The appointment of administrators has been a necessary step to protect the business and ensure that we can continue to support our customers in light of the insolvency of our parent company, Manroland AG.
Manroland Great Britain Limited, based in London, is a supplier of printing machinery to the printing industry and provides printing supplies and services and support for customers across the UK. The company has a total of 60 employees, 15 based in the head office in Morden. The remaining 45 are home-based sales staff and service engineers.
