Midcomp will officially launch its new HP Latex R530W all-in-one flatbed and roll to roll printer, as well as the Latex 830W series, at the Africa Print Expo. The event will take place from 9-11 September (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) at the Gallagher Convention Centre, 9am-5pm.
HP Latex R530 W
The HP Latex R530 printer is the only all-in-one compact printing solution, allowing seamless adaptation between rigid and flexible applications. Achieve consistent quality across jobs and create colour profiles with the HP embedded spectrophotomter. The machine also features speeds up to 36sqm/hr outdoor, 3-litre ink cartridges and white ink.
HP Latex 630W P&C
The new HP Latex 630 printer series completes HP’s Latex range and makes white ink technology available to Print Service Providers (PSPs) of all sizes. White ink allows users to produce a more impactful range of signage and décor jobs with stunning image quality and colours that jump off the page, creating attention-grabbing campaigns for end-customers. The HP Latex 630 family also provides the HP Latex 630 and 630 W Print and Cut option, giving customers the option of upgrading to a dual-device solution with print and cut functionality.
Durst Solutions
Midcomp will also have a Durst booth to discuss industrial printing solutions for the following markets: labels and flexible packaging, corrugated, large format and graphics, textile and wallpaper.

There is no minimum print volume required. PPU covers a user’s ink supplies, printheads, cleaning cartridges, service maintenance kits, labour and spare parts, and is an ideal solution for cost-efficient printing.
PPUGRO
Midcomp representatives will also be available to explain the benefits of the PPUGRO solution in which Midcomp offers a PPU Programme that now gives customers the option of including a printing and finishing system as well as RIP Software, consumables (excluding media), service costs and insurance charged at a predetermined variable rate per square metre that the customer prints. At the end of every month, a customer will be sent a spreadsheet detailing the jobs they have printed in that month as well as the total square metres printed. Midcomp applies the variable rate per square metre and sends a customer one invoice.
