Kyocera won the award for Best Medium Floor Space at the PE Regional Expo, which took place on 13 February at The Boardwalk. The company, which exhibited with its partners Riso and Omni Technologies, showcased its range of multi-function devices and the new Epson Surecolor S50610 for printing companies.

The company also helped raise awareness of the South African Marine Rehabilitation and Education Centres (SAMRECs) initiative to save the African Penguin. The centre is based in the Cape Recife Nature Reserve in Port Elizabeth. It relies on donations for its operational costs and volunteers to work with penguins and maintain the facilities.
