Industry Suppliers Showcasing Latest Print Technology At GPS Pop Up Activation This Week

See the latest digital printing, 3D printing, labelling solutions, laser marking solutions and more at the Graphics, Print and Sign (GPS) pop-up activation, taking place at Eastgate Shopping Centre in Johannesburg from 29 October–1 November. The activation is sponsored by Roland and Africa Print is a media partner of GPS.

Some of the companies at the activation:

Kemtek Imaging Systems 

Kemtek will showcase its Brother ScanNcut SDX-1200 machine. The small business and hobby cutting machine is equipped with an inline roll feeder, and is packed with features such as 600dpi built-in scanner, automatic blade adjustment, 1303 built-in designs with 17 fonts, wireless connectivity and more.

The roll feeder is great for creating longer designs for home décor or shop windows, or high volume cutting of repeat jobs like stickers or logos.

– Crafting and scrapbooking: easily create patterns and cut materials to use in any crafting or DIY project.
– Mixed media artists: unlimited creative potential with the ability to cut a variety of surfaces and materials.

Titan Jet Africa

The company will showcase entry market sublimation equipment and consumables, with a high value centred around the start up kit. This equipment will allow users to print on corporate gifts and branding products. With the pro kit, T-shirt kit and elite kit, high savings are possible. The company also specialise in large format printers, which take businesses to the next level with a low running cost and high quality printing solutions.

3D Fusion

3D Fusion will showcase its spiral version 3D printing models, which primarily create round/bowl products, but at a faster pace than the layer version. A wide variety of products can be made, including: stationery holders, cupcake trays and vases, which are ideal for the craft industry, and require no human labour.

3D printing with 3D Fusion printers is designed to make a signage manufacturer’s life easier, and is a must-have for every signage company. The CY-G3 heat press is an electronic automatic magnetic drawer high pressure heat press. When ready, the heat plate opens automatically, saving labour and ensuring safety.

The The MF20-P-C Desktop Fibre Laser Marker is suitable for a number of applications, including metal accessories marking, metal name card marking, switch marking, metal handicraft and marking electronic components.

The Dinkum Desktop Cutting Plotter is a DIY machine, which uses a small blade to cut over 100 materials, including paper, cardstock, vinyl and fabric up to 30.5cm (12 inch) width. The Mini Mug press will also be showcased.
