EMT International Demonstrating Cutting, Creasing, And Perforating Technologies

EMT International is showcasing next-generation finishing solutions. The centrepiece of EMT’s presence will be a new cutting technology demonstration featuring an innovative approach designed for flexibility and operability.

Among its advantages are:

– Toolless setup and easy, repeatable adjustments.
– Wide-open access for maintenance and blade changes.
– Adaptive cutting technology that adjusts across substrates and changeovers.

It will be showcased at PRINTING United 2025, October 22–24 in Florida.

‘This technology represents a new way of thinking about cutting in digital print finishing,’ said Mike Herold, EVP of Marketing and Sales at EMT. ‘By sharing it at PRINTING United, we’re opening the door for meaningful conversations with our customers as we continue to evolve it for the future.’

Alongside this debut, EMT will also feature a range of solutions that address today’s most pressing production needs. Dynamic Cross Creasing prevents cracking when folding heavy substrates, even with full-colour coverage. Heavy-duty perf technology: expands EMT’s perforating range to substrates up to 18pt, offering dynamic and variable patterns with high-speed precision. Videk Vision Inspection is integrated on the finishing line to provide quality assurance and real-time monitoring.

‘The ever-increasing range of substrate, caliper, and speed from continuous feed inkjet printing requires finishing solutions to match,’ said Jordan Geurts, VP of Technology and Solutions. ‘Our goal is to give printers flexible, intelligent solutions that adapt as their needs evolve.’

All the solutions on display reflect EMT’s modular platform approach, built to integrate seamlessly with customer workflows and partner technologies. This approach reinforces EMT’s role not only as an equipment provider, but as a true integration partner, helping printers connect the right technologies into complete, future-ready finishing solutions.
