The Africa Print Regional Expo in Bloemfonten, held on 9 May at Kiepersolrant, was a major success, with almost 280 visitors attending the Expo to see the latest digital print technology and equipment first hand. 

Highlights include:

On the commercial printing front, the Africa Print Regional Expo sponsor, Xerox, showcased the Xerox Colour 770 and 1000 presses. Responding to customer requirements for alignment and registration accuracy, both presses are equipped with tools designed to simplify the way customers achieve image quality consistency and maximise press uptime. 

Konica Minolta South Africa exhibited digital production press award winners as well as its comprehensive photo book solution. 

Antalis South Africa exhibited digital printers from its new partner, Intec Printing Solutions.

Ricoh showcased its range of Ricoh projectors, the MP C4502ARDF multifunction printer fitted with the SR3110 booklet finisher, and the MP C305SPF.

Judges visited each stand at the expo and judged the stands according to criteria based on design and staff friendliness and professionalism. The stand winners and runners up include:
