The Durst Tau 330 RSC recently passed all Color-Logic certification criteria, assuring buyers that the printer can accurately reproduce all Color-Logic special effects and metallic embellishments on their labels and packages.
The digital UV inkjet labels and packaging printer has a print width of 330mm (13”) and a printing speed of up to 78 running metres per minute (255.10 feet per minute). This corresponds to a production capacity of 1485sqm per hour (15,984 square ft/hr) at a print resolution of 1200 x 1200dpi.
Equipped with eight colours (CMYK + W + OVG) for the newly developed, highly pigmented Durst Tau RSC inks, the printer produces outstanding near-flexo print quality and achieves up to 95% simulation of the Pantone colour space. The Durst Tau 330 RSC works as a stand-alone printer or as a hybrid solution with the addition of conventional finishing options in the OMET XFlex-X6 series. This gives the user unlimited flexibility in terms of materials and a broad range of applications.
