Africa Print Durban Expo Well Received By Visitors And Exhibitors

The successful Africa Print Durban expo, which took place from 15-16 March, attracted 1010 visitors from all over KwaZulu-Natal including Durban, Kokstad, Richards Bay, Pongola, Pietermaritzburg, Amanzimtoti, Margate, Stanger and Vryheid, as well as Welkom, Virginia, Graskop, Rooihuiskraal North, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Spain.

Visitors were inspired by the latest technologies and trends in printing, branding, T-shirt printing, vehicle graphics, direct to film and garment solutions, laser engraving, digital label printing and other cutting edge technology.

Exhibitor feedback was positive:

‘The show was absolutely great, our stand had a lot of feet, and a lot of customers the whole time. With the Speedwrap, there was never a dull moment,’ said Belinda Pansegrouw, Maizey Plastics.

‘We got to meet some clients that we were hoping to see so we’re very happy about that,’ said Greg Eales, Red Hot Media.

‘We had an excellent show. Day one was extremely successful especially because of the launch of our new machine. We sold a dozen machines on day one and then (on day two) we believe that we made maybe even double the amount of sales than the first day. Congratulations, thank you for having us at the show and we look forward to the next one,’ said Rob Franco, Graphix Supply World.

‘The show was a success for Stixo – we were very happy with the response, and we’ll do the show again,’ said Tony Arriah, Stixo.

‘Decent feet on the ground. The quality of leads was definitely better than last year,’ said Rakesh Rosen, Midcomp.

‘I think it was amazing. I’m happy, it’s been quite a good show for me,’ said Aron Mudau, Curv.

‘It was a good show, we saw a lot of big and small printers, but I think it’s just as important to show face and be present. It was good, there were a lot of feet through the doors,’ said Anja Kirton, Fujifilm South Africa.

’The first day was excellent, it was very, very busy. It was an excellent show. A lot of people came by and a lot of leads came in,’ said Charl Ferreira, JG Electronics.
