Arctec has released a high-performance label printer, Trojan 1 powered by Memjet. Memjet technologies has more than 70,000 ink nozzles per printhead, 17 times the nozzle density of a traditional inkjet printhead. Trojanone gives Memjet printheads the power to deliver 1600 x 1600 dpi quality at 300 mm per second. The Memjet page-wide printhead is 222.8 mm wide and designed to fire more than 700 million drops of ink per second.
The Trojan 1 prints full colour labels at 300 mm/sec enabling in-house production of crisp colour labels and gives your products added value while optimising traceability in the form of a bar code and/or colour code. This is all done at a cost per label which is significantly lower than what the market has been able to offer up to now.
