Fellowes Beswick exhibited its print finishing machinery at the Africa Print Expo in Johannesburg. The event was held at Gallagher Convention Centre from 8-10 September.
Stellar 686 Laminator: features lamination at 10m/minute, twice the speed of standard systems; pneumatic pressure rollers that laminate substrates 50% faster, cutting costs on both time and materials; anti-curl technology and easy-to-use-control panel; as well as single or double-sided configurations.
Stellar SS2 Saddle Stitcher: a tabletop wire stitcher that handles 2-35 sheets with no setup fuss. Foot-pedal operation, simplified wire feeding, and easy thickness adjustment make it ideal for finishing shops balancing variable job sizes.
Stellar QHY Auto Auto Creaser and Perforator: multi-function finishing for stickers, labels and complex die-cuts. It runs at 130m/minute with three creasing moulds, three perforating knives, and five half-cutting blades, all in one set-up.
Stellar PG 490 Guillotine: features single clamping button for convenient operation, and electronic hand wheel for fine adjustment with variable speed. Blade fine-depth can be adjusted from outside of the machine. It helps increase productivity, improve cutting accuracy and reduce repetitive setup time through programmable automation and precision controls.
Stellar PB 60 Perfect Binder: automatic binding up to 340mm with patented side glue technology and auto-adjusting clamping pressure. Its features include tungsten steel cutter with digital control handles. Its large glue tank means fewer refills.
Stellar Green Mamba: an automatic calendar rimming machine.
Ausjetech BM 195 Booklet Maker and FT31 Trimmer: auto-setting booklet maker that stitches, folds, and trims saddle-stitch books in one pass. The optional trimmer delivers print-ready books.
Ausjetech 45F Paper Folder: tabletop folder handling B6-A3 sheets with auto sheet-size sensing and six fold options: half, letter, Z-fold, offset, gate and double half. It also includes removable rollers for quick maintenance.
Ausjetech 331SC Business Card Cutter: slit and cut in a single pass with adjustable slitter design. Pre-set templates swap jobs instantly (no cartridge changes). Additional features include built-in image-shift compensation for digital print registration errors. It handles 150-330gsm chrome, laminated and UV-coated stock.
Ausjetech CR68 Corner Rounder: features seven standard dies in a rotating carousel, users can swap dies by turning the indicator dial. Pedal operation rounds up to 600 sheets per job. It also includes two-hand safety controls, key-lock access and inching mode for gauge adjustment or jam recovery.
Ausjetech C4 Crease and Perf: the C4 sniper is an entry-level tabletop manual feed creaser. The semi-automatic creaser is also capable of perforating. Equipped with interchangeable creasing/perfing dies, the C4 sniper can quickly switch over from perfing to creasing while preventing digital toner cracking.
Impress Foil Express: digital foil-printing on-demand for invitations, book covers, greeting cards and specialty items. Print at 300x600dpi on paper, plastics and leather, personalise instantly with computer-generated graphics.
Uchida UC 1200 Collator: industrial 10-station collator handles 52-210gsm paper at 4200 sets/hour with error detection and automatic mapping.
