Graphix Supply World 

The LX610e Pro colour label printer has the unique feature to print and cut any label shape with just one device in seconds. It combines colour inkjet label printing with a built-in digital die-cutting mechanism.

LX610e Pro combines colour label printing at up to 4800 dpi with a built-in digital die-cutting mechanism. The desktop-sized printer comes complete with intuitive, easy-to-use software for laying out print and cut files. Just like any other desktop colour label printer standard pre die-cut labels and tags can also be used with this device for just printing.

The Kongsberg X24 Edge cutting table delivers the tried and tested Kongsberg recipe of productivity and flexibility, combined with best-in-class reliability. What’s more, the Kongsberg X24 Edge can be equipped for any application, without any compromise on performance.

Midcomp

Midcomp will launch its brand new Compress iUV600s small footprint flatbed UV printer model for packaging, labelling and signage at the upcoming Graphics, Print and Sign Expo, taking place from 14-16 September at the Gallagher Convention Centre.

The iUV series delivers exceptional photo realistic colour. In addition to unmatched material size and thickness capabilities, the printer utilises CMYK, White and Clear inks for special effects including textures and simulated embossing. It all adds up to powerful visual impact on POP displays, industrial parts, art, promotional products and one or two-sided signs with variable data.

Compress UV LED technology is an entirely new small footprint flatbed UV printer that brings cost-effective, on-demand colour printing to the production floor for a multitude of substrates. The series gives users the freedom to print exactly what they want, when they want and virtually to whatever they want. Fast colour digital printing is possible for glass, metal, plastics, board stocks, acrylic and more.

An integrated roll to sheet media handling system is incorporated for packaging, label production and proofing. The use of clear and white inks allows a diverse range of decoration processes that can revolutionise the printing of labels, decals and packaging samples.

Riso

Riso will be showcasing its two newest inkjet models. The 120 page per minute full colour ComColor FT5230 inkjet printer features a line-type inkjet system. The ink type is an oil-based pigment ink (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black). The standard print resolution is 300dpi (main scanning direction) x 300dpi (sub-scanning direction). The fine print resolution is 300dpi (main scanning direction) x 600dpi (sub-scanning direction). Optimise versatility with additional options such as an additional 2000 sheet feeder, multifunction finisher and facedown finisher.

Riso’s GL series boast a line-up of optional accessories that instantly transforms tasks into a streamlined experience that meets users’ expectations, such as feeders, trays and stackers. The ComColor GL9730 features single-pass full-colour printing of up to 165 A4 long-edge feed colour pages per minute. The print type is a line-type inkjet system. Its ink type is oil-based pigment ink (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black and Grey).

Print resolutions include:

– Standard/high chromatic, black: 600 dpi (main scanning direction) x 600dpi (sub-scanning direction).

– Standard/high chromatic, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Grey: 300 dpi (main scanning direction) x 300 dpi (sub-scanning direction).

– Fine, black: 600 dpi (main scanning direction) x 600 dpi (sub-scanning direction).

– Fine, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Grey: 300 dpi (main scanning direction) x 600 dpi (sub-scanning direction).

The FT5230 and GL9730 also use a three-tiered billing system which assists in greatly reducing colour printing costs.
