Jackrom, a printing company in Venezuela, has invested in two ROTOCON machines to scale packaging production. The company invested in a ROTOCON RFP 660S flexo press as its dedicated roll-to-roll flexo press, alongside a ROTOCON RD 530mm rotary die-cutting finishing machine. The order was confirmed at ROTOCON Europe’s headquarters in Siek, near Hamburg, Germany.
The ROTOCON RFP S-Series is a modular sleeve-based flexographic printing press with triple servo-driven precision, fast job changeovers, and speeds of up to 200m/min. It combines advanced German engineering, automation, and efficiency, and can be configured with a range of expandable smart modules, including rotary screen printing, hot foil embossing, lamination, multi-layer and booklet labels, and more.
The ROTOCON RD 530mm rotary die-cutting finishing machine is designed for wider label and flexible packaging applications and a servo-driven architecture for precision web handling and register control.
‘With over 50 years of experience since our founding in 1972, our company’s identity is firmly rooted in our technical knowledge and manufacturing expertise,’ said Susana Zaragoza, Jackrom’s Managing Partner & Director of Development and Quality. ‘We are constantly looking for ways to elevate our know-how to offer the best solutions on the market. We decided to invest in ROTOCON because its technology perfectly aligns with this vision.
‘By upgrading to the ROTOCON RFP 660S as a dedicated roll-to-roll flexo press, alongside the independent RD 530mm rotary die-cutter, we are unlocking massive production efficiencies. This specific setup allows us to be highly competitive and versatile across our two main business lines: high-volume cardboard packaging and flexible films for stand-up pouches. We expect these machines to drastically increase our output speed, reduce waste, and maintain the impeccable quality our clients demand.’
