Nashua has reported that its charity initiative has made great strides.

The Nashua Children’s Charity Foundation (NCCF) and its donors have helped 16 of their assisted charities with the donation of uniforms, shoes, schools bags, educational equipment and stationery.

The needs of each individual charity were taken into consideration, such as the sandpit at Joy at Work, which is a vital tool in therapy learning. At Elsies River Care Centre, 32 Grade 1 learners each received two sets of school uniforms, courtesy of Nashua Tygerberg.

The NCCF supports 75 children’s organisations, assisting approximately 15,000 children every month. The organisations include orphanages, day care centres, crèches, soup kitchens, outreach centres, special needs schools and safe houses.
