Propafilm™ CHBM, an ultra-high barrier metallised BOPP film engineered to deliver exceptional product protection while supporting the transition to more recyclable flexible packaging solutions, combines outstanding oxygen and moisture barrier properties with metal adhesion and thermal stability. It was developed to meet the growing demand for high-performance mono-material packaging.
The film is specifically designed to replace aluminium foil in polypropylene-based laminate structures, enabling brands and converters to achieve premium barrier performance while improving recyclability. With its ultra-high oxygen transmission rate (OTR) and water vapour transmission rate (WVTR) barrier performance, Propafilm™ CHBM provides superior protection for oxygen- and moisture-sensitive products, helping preserve freshness, aroma, flavour, and product quality throughout the supply chain.
Available in an 18 μm (0.72ml) gauge, Propafilm™ CHBM features:
