Fujifilm launches Uvistar Pro8 at drupa
2012
 

FUJIFILM Corporation (President and CEO: Shigetaka Komori) announced the launch of the latest development in its highly successful series of Uvistar super-wide format printers. Named the ‘Uvistar Pro8‘, this latest platform is particularly suited to producing super-wide format print for both display POP and outdoor advertising markets on flexible and rigid media, and can be seen in action on Fujifilm’s stand in Hall 8b at drupa 2012.

Fujifilm and Inca Digital launch the Inca Onset S40i
 
The new Inca Onset S40i flatbed UV inkjet printer supercedes the Inca Onset S40 and includes many new intelligent features that increase productivity and reliability. Supplied by Fujifilm, Inca’s exclusive global distribution partner, the new Inca Onset S40i is being shown publicly for the first time worldwide on the Fujifilm stand in Hall 8b at drupa 2012.
 
“MultiGrain Z” technology launched for its processless plate at drupa 2012
 
The introduction of a new surface treatment technology called “MultiGrain Z” that is set to be used in the manufacture of its processless printing plate was announced. This new manufacturing process is unique to Fujifilm, and allows for the creation of an even greater effective surface area of the plate, which will result in up to a 50% improvement in run length for the company’s revolutionary new Brillia HD PRO-T3 processless plate, while retaining the superior ink / water balance, on press processing stability and market leading image quality.

FUJIFILM Corporation announced that it will be fuelling its impressive range of inkjet equipment in the wide format zone on its stand in Hall 8b at drupa 2012 with a number of new high performance UV inkjet ink systems.
 
Fujifilm announces support for WaterAid from sales of Brillia HD PRO-T3
 
FUJIFILM Europe announced the beginning of a 12-month initiative in conjunction with WaterAid, the international charity dedicated to improving the water supplies in some of the most impoverished parts of the world. As part of its continued drive to be as sustainable as possible, and support sustainability in the efforts of others, Fujifilm is launching an initiative that will mean the company gives a percentage of the sales of every square metre of PRO-T3 plates sold in Europe, Middle East & Africa to this international organisation, with the aim of raising at least €30,000.
