Canon South Africa Welcomes Experienced Print Professional As New Key Account Manager

Aziza Mahomed has been appointed as Canon South Africa’s new key account manager. In her new role, Mahomed will work closely with commercial print businesses across South Africa, helping customers identify opportunities to increase productivity, expand their service offerings and unlock new revenue streams through innovative print technologies. She will also focus on strengthening strategic customer relationships, supporting business growth and guiding organisations through an evolving print landscape shaped by digital transformation, automation and sustainability.

Mahomed brings more than two decades of experience in the print, signage and graphics industry, combining technical product knowledge with strategic business development. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with various customers across the printing industry, helping them identify technologies that improve productivity, profitability and competitiveness.

‘Having represented leading brands and managed national customer relationships, I understand that every investment must deliver measurable business value. My approach is consultative, I enjoy understanding a customer’s challenges and recommending solutions that support their long-term growth. I also believe in building strong, lasting partnerships based on trust, service excellence and a genuine understanding of the industry.’

Mahomed also has experience in marketing, pricing, product positioning, promotions, and go-to-market execution, with hands-on involvement in long-cycle capital equipment sales. She is comfortable operating in both direct OEM and distributor-led sales models and has worked closely with international principals to support export-led engagement across Southern Africa and selected African markets, as well as a strong network in South Africa.

In her new role, Mahomed looks forwards to strengthening relationships across the South African print industry and collaborating with customers as they navigate a rapidly evolving market.
