BOBST VISION K5 HS vacuum metalliser offers optimal metallisation to ensure the best design visibility. Holographic films can be properly laminated due to their strong Metal Bond strength. The customised holographic impressions / images are transferred on the paper board, BOPET, Paper and BOPP which can be widely used in various packaging applications. VK Global Digital has acquired a state-of-the art BOBST VISION K5 HS metalliser.
This acquisition enables them to ensure the best design visibility, enhanced barrier performance, and consistent quality for their packaging solutions. Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Faridabad, VK Global Digital specialises in high-performance packaging materials, using Silver Transfer Metallised films, Holographic Diffraction Patterns, Optically Active Surface Patterns, and Fresnel Lens films on substrates like PET, BOPP, and paper. These are widely used in mono cartons, self-adhesive labels and flexible packaging applications.
The VISION K5 HS is being assembled to the highest standards at BOBST’s new vacuum metalliser production site in Pune, India. The VISION K5 HS metalliser incorporates a 700mm diameter coating drum, providing the largest coating window in the industry, and it has been designed to handle a wide variety of different film types including heat sensitive, thin gauge and sustainable substrates with new features to improve metallising performance on PE and low temperature Heat Sealable BOPP films.
