Known for their broad range of print media, Papersmith & Son, has recently announced the launch of their latest innovation, EnDURO Ice, which is a semi-synthetic material made in Germany by SIHL GmbH.
Papersmith is the exclusive distributor for this range in South Africa, Botswana and Namibia. Similar in appearance to conventional transparency papers, but being a paper-film-paper combination, EnDURO Ice offers higher durability and easier handling than traditional transparent papers. With Papersmith already being the leader in natural and coloured translucent papers, the choice to partner with them was obvious.
EnDURO Ice means easy printing with standard offset inks and normal drying procedure with no extra handling; EnDURO Ice can be converted easily, avoiding difficulties with many conventional transparent papers. There will be no whitened edges when folding, and die cutting is also trouble-free. Gluing does not cause cockling of the surface. Stitching, punching and laser printing are all feasible.
Another distinct product advantage is the strength of EnDURO Ice, making it durable, long-lasting and tear-resistant. This will provide a product solution to Papersmith’s customers where there is a unique demand. EnDURO Ice is available in a range of weights from 80 to 270gsm ex-stock and more weights available on request.
EnDURO Ice with its visual elegance and quality feel will allow many surprisingly creative graphical, packaging and stationery product solutions to be realized. With EnDURO Ice, Papersmith is very pleased to be once again at the heart of exciting new developments in the print media business. |
